Generalized Hesitant Fuzzy Bonferroni Mean and Its Application in Multi-criteria Group Decision Making |

Abstract Hesitant fuzzy set is a very useful technique in situations where there are some difficulties in determining
the membership of an element to a set. Some aggregation methods have been developed for hesitant fuzzy
information. Current aggregation methods are under the assumption that the criteria are independent.
However, in real decision making problems, correlation is a common phenomenon between criteria. In
this paper, we investigate multi-criteria group decision making problems where the criteria are correlative
under hesitant fuzzy environment. Firstly, we propose the Generalized Hesitant Fuzzy Bonferroni Mean
(GHFBM). Then, some of its desirable properties and special cases are studied in detail. Furthermore, the
procedure of multi-criteria group decision making based on the GHFBM is introduced under hesitant
fuzzy environment. Finally, a practical example about the financial strategy planning of a Chinese
enterprise is provided to illustrate the developed method.
