The Study of FID Signal Detection Technology of Proton Magnetometer Based on Prony Method |

Abstract In order to improve the accuracy and stability of the frequency
measurement of proton magnetometer free decay signal (FID signal),
many methods had been taken. However, many of them may be much
better if they had considered the signal detection in a dynamic
measurement and strong noisy environment. So the Prony method is
proposed in this paper. It focuses on discussing the basic principle
and describing the matrix mathematical model of FID, theoretical
study, then the FID signal of proton magnetometer is processed
based on the Prony method. Finally, the measurement of frequency
and numerical example are done shown the proposed method effective
and feasible. The accuracy of measurement results can be achieved up
to the one thousandths. Therefore, good results could be achieved
by the study of the Prony method to measure the frequency of FID
signal.
