Adaptive Audio Watermarking Algorithm Based on Sub-band Feature |

Abstract A sub-band feature based on adaptive audio watermarking algorithm is
proposed. Firstly, the logistic mapping is used to scrambling
processing the watermark image, and the watermark information is
encrypted by the use of the chaos address index sequence. Secondly,
the audio frame is divided into sub-bands to calculate the spectrum
centroid. Thirdly, the sub-bands which include the centroid, have
the small short-time zero-crossing rate, and have the large
short-time energy are chosen. Then, the chosen sub-bands are three
lifting wavelet transformed to discrete cosine transform the
obtained low frequency coefficient. At last, the watermarking is
embedded by the process of odd-even quantization. The extracted
watermark signal doesn't need to use the original audio signal.
Experiments show that the watermarking not only has good
concealment, but also has strong robustness after low-pass
filtering, re-sampling, format conversion, synchronization attacks
and other operations.
