Secret Key Generation and Security Channel Selection Rule in Cognitive Radio Systems |

Abstract To solve the problem of spectrum sharing security, a key generation
mechanism and safety channel selection rule based on channel
characteristics is proposed. In cognitive system each node sensed
and exchanged available channel lists, that is, the spectrum pool.
As the same frequency, the same channel characteristics in channel
coherence time, different frequency means difference and
independence channel characteristics, we can choose one or more
available channels to send and receive beacon signal. The article
detected and used received signal phase to generate random key
matrix, and generate key by key matrix fusion processing, after that
the key is used to choose a channel from the spectrum pool, update
communication channel and control channel in a certain time
interval, which can prevent malicious node eavesdropping, tampering
or channel consultation block attacks. Compared with the RSSI based
key generation method, the pair-wise, group key generation mechanism
and channel selection update algorithm are simulated and analyzed.
The results show that the proposed algorithm not only approves the
randomness and the key generation ratio, but also approves the ratio
of the frequency agreement, which can guarantee high agreement ratio
of the security channel selection.
